Husband and wife team Eddy Balcaen and Gwen Wyckmans both descend from families with several generations of entrepreneurial experience. Together they own and manage NV Balcaen & Cie, a company based in Wemmel. They both gained master’s degrees in Business Administration from the European University in Antwerp. Eddy furthered these studies at the renowned Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona, from where he graduated with a Master of International Management degree in 1988. And whilst Gwen learned the ropes of running a business in her home country of Belgium, Eddy gained practical experience in commercial enterprises in France, the Netherlands and Germany.
Balcaen & Cie NV can now boast over 30 years’ experience of erecting fencing and gates. We offer a wide selection of fencing materials and gates in various materials (wood and wrought metal) for both industrial and residential locations and combine this with an expert knowledge of access control systems. In short, Balcaen & Cie NV can rightly claim to be a specialist in the field. 
We will erect and automate a gate for you and fence off your property using anything from domestic wood types to an exotic hardwood. We also use ecologically-minded composite materials that are perfectly suited to the enjoyment of modern terraces and gardens.
